NUCLEUS is a 3D unified management system that allows you to visualize and manage the real-time data collected in your buildings. It integrates with existing sensors and management systems such as those for
All the data are presented in a single unified 3D view, providing you with situational awareness for managing your buildings.
The above diagram depicts a typical NUCLEUS deployment. In this deployment, it includes NUCLEUS and an external system.
The NUCLEUS system is made up of a Server (B) and Clients (A). The Server manages the static 3D Sites and real-time states. You then connect a Client to the Server to view the Site that you are interested in.
Over in the physical world, in a typical modern building there are many smart sensors (E) deployed to collect data. Management systems (D) provide a central point for collecting and managing these data streams. For example, Milestone XProtect can be used to manage cameras and input pins.
NUCLEUS can then be integrated with these external systems to visualize this real-time data in its unified 3D view. A software adapter (C) is used to link the external system with NUCLEUS. The adapter converts the data from the external system into a format that is interpretable by NUCLEUS, as well as converts commands from NUCLEUS to a form that the external system can understand.
NUCLEUS provides some adapters natively, e.g. for Milestone XProtect. All NUCLEUS licensees may also develop their own adapters to their own external systems by using the NUCLEUS SDK. If you are interested in developing one, please contact support@gelement.com.
Note that a machine must meet certain requirements to be used as a NUCLEUS Server or Client.
